Is the radio scared to play REAL music??????

I was having a deep marijuana inspired convo the other day with a good friend and he brought up a good point. What happened to all the REAL music? And by real i dont just mean gangsta street thugged out music. I dont mean Gucci and Wacka Flocka and Lil wayne and 2chainz. I dont mean rappers who just glorify and hype up the struggle. I mean the artist like Rakim and Nas and The Ghetto Boyz and Devin the dude and DMX. Why is REAL music not played on the radio???

Dont get it twisted. Im not sayin there isnt any good music out anymore. If anything mainstream music has slowly gotten better over the past few years in my opinion. But where is the subject matter? where is the REALness of it? Where are todays 2pacs? where are the Outkasts? Y do all the up n coming artists who are REAL only get radio play when theyve watered down their content?(J. Cole for example)

All im asking is for the radio stations to stop playing da bullshit and play sum REAL FUCKING MUSIC!!!!! Im just saying.....

My Birfmas Wish

Today i am 24 yrs old. Ive had alot of ups and dwns in this past year. Ive been broke, had money, homeless, living comfortably, depressed and on top of the world. Ive grown alot. Ive made new friends/relationships some lasting some not. Ive learned alot bout myself and bout this world and the people in it. Ive grown drastically. But i think the biggest thing ive learned this year is to love myself and keep it real no mtter what. Ive learned u cant be someone to someone else until ur someone to urself.
That brings me to my only wish for my birfmas: CAN EVERYBODY JUS KEEP IT REAL??????  It seems in todays culture people are more concerned with how other people view them instead of being themselves. I kno what ur thinking. Perception is key yea i kno i wrote that shit. But there is a serious difference between people perceiving u a certain way and creating a whole new persona (i.e. most peoples fb or twitter pages). Dont get it twisted. I understand people hav difrent aspects of themselvs. For instance I hav Mr. Presley the serious no nonsense side of myself. Then there is OJ the cool goofy laid back guy. Then theres Solomon Mattias Sativa who i dnt think u guys r ready to meet. But theyre all me. Its not Oj Khalifa or Lil Tunechi Presley. Its me. All dfferent aspects of me.

I guess im just tired of dealin wit the fake phony and fraudulent. Lets 2012 be the year of the Real. im just sayin....

Perception is Key

We've all heard the saying glass half full half empty. Its about perception. Your perception of things in life greatly affect how you go about living that life. I was not too long ago at the lowest point in my life where i felt like everything was stacked against me. I had to change my perception of things. Instead of thinking like 'I dont have shit' i started thinking like 'good thing i dont have shit so no thirsty chick can take it'. Jk but i think u get wat im saying. Instead of thinking 'damn its raining like shit' i started thinking 'crops gotta eat too'.

All n all what im babbling about is stop looking at everything in such a negative light. Change your perception and maybe you can change your mood. Change you perception and maybe you can change your destiny. Tyler Perry was homeless. Oprah was addicted to drugs. Jay-z looks like a camel. But instead looking at it like they were defeated, they looked at it like it might be bad now but it will get better in time and it could be worse. Tyler Perry is rich, Oprah is rich, Jay-z is rich (but unfortunately still looks like a camel. I said change your perception not your face.) Bottom line I feel that we control our destiny. Are you depressed because you dont have a job or are you happy you aint gotta pay taxes? Im just saying....
